DESCRIPTION

Thorak is a tough dwarvish mercenary with a soft core. He travels the newly colonized continent of Synthos with a party of other dwarves seeking glory that cannot be found in the “civilized” dwarf nation of Jaxheim. With Doro and Turk, he slays monsters that are terrorizing the settlers and then finishes the evening with a raucous night in the local ale tent.

When in battle, Thorak is a talented strategist. He will assess a situation, call orders and then attack where the most impact can be made. This may mean he lays down cover fire with his crossbow or charge into battle with his massive greataxe, a gift from his Grandmother Addy.

Thorak is recognizable by his wealth of black hair both on his head and in a long unkempt beard that hangs to knees. He wears travelers clothes made of leather for durability and usually has chain mail underneath for added protection. Thorak also has a knack for mechanical devices and can often be found tinkering with his gear when siting around a fire.

HISTORY OF Thorak

“If there was a leader of the party in the original AD&D group it would have been Thorak. Though Aldric had the mission and hired the dwarves, Thorak often took charge in combat situations. This led to defining the comic version of him as the veteran strategist that Aldric relied on to get them through tough spots.

Thorak is such a fun character. He’s the kind of dwarf that you want to give a hug if you were sure he wasn’t going to put a crossbow bolt in him. There’s more to Thorak than we’ve been able to explore so far.” - Than, The Chronicler

Thorak was played by Jackson Doyle.
